Calling Your Pager
• Dial pager number from touch-tone phone
• After multiple tones, enter phone number you'd like called, or predetermined codes
• For pagers with personal greeting, punch in phone number during greeting or wait for multiple tones
• For pagers with voice mail, leave verbal message after single beep, or punch in number during greeting
• For pagers with 800 number: out-of-town callers will be prompted to enter the pager number after the tone. Follow above procedures.
How to Record your Personal Greeting - Mailbox Greeting
• Call your pager number. You will hear this generic message until you record your own:
"Please leave your voice or numeric message after the tone." PRESS [0] while this greeting is playing.
• Then you'll hear:
"Please enter your access code."
Following the multiple beeps, KEY IN your 4-digit access code.
• If you have voice mail, you will hear:
"You have ____ messages." Then, press [11].
• If you have just a personal greeting, you will automatically be taken to the greeting mode.
• Then you'll hear:
"You may now change your custom greeting message."
• To record your greeting, press [30] and begin recording after the tone.
• When you have finished recording your greeting, press [1].
• To listen to your greeting, press [40].
• To play a help message, press [*] at any time and you will hear a description of each key used to enter greeting message commands.
• To record your greeting again, press [30].
• When you have finished, either press [10] to transfer back to voice mailbox mode, or press [#] and hang up to disconnect.
Voice Mail & Numeric Message Retrieval Instructions
If you need HELP at any time, just press the [*] key.
To enter your mailbox:
• Phone your mailbox/pager #.
• If you have a 800# and are calling from out-of-town, dial it first.
• During the greeting, press [0].
• Enter your access code.
• Enter the appropriate commands and follow the prompts.
Transfer to other modes:
[11] Record Greeting
[13] Forward Message
[14] Play Back Numeric Messages (use same keys as message retrieval)
[17] Change Access Code
[10] Enter Voice Message Retrieval
Message Retrieval:
[2] Delete last message
[3] Play newest to oldest
[4] Play oldest to newest
[5] Play current message
[6] Play all messages
[7] Play time and date
[8] Scan backward
[9] Scan forward
[10] To hear how many messages in your mailbox
Record Greeting Message
Transfer to Greeting Mode [11].
[30] Starts recording
[1] Stops recording (press as soon as you are done recording)
[40] Playback of recording
[10] To transfer back to voice mailbox mode 0r [#] & hang up to disconnect.
Change Access Code (restricted to 4 digits)
Transfer to Access Code Mode [17].
[3] Then key in all the digits of your new access code, then press [#].
[4] Verify new access code.
[10] To go back to voice messages.
Optional Numeric Retrieval
[14] Insurance for numeric messages.
[2] Delete current message.
[3] Play newest to oldest messages.
[4] Play oldest to newest messages.
[5] Play current messages.
[6] Play all messages.
[8] Resend current numeric or alphanumeric message.
[9] Resend last 3 numeric or alphanumeric messages.
